ABOUT ME

Welcome Guardian Angels

First and Foremost, YOU ARE AN AMAZING CAREGIVER! Your loved one is so lucky to have you. Stay strong, encouraged, take care of YOURSELF and no matter what ALL WILL BE FINE.

Let me introduce myself — I’m Christina Mitchell. I have over 20 years of caregiving experience, including two years as the legal guardian for my mother, who lives with bipolar schizophrenia. My childhood was shaped by resilience — raised by my grandparents while my mom was in and out of mental institutions, spending time in foster care, and later caring for my grandfather until his passing.

At 14, my uncle, my mother’s twin brother, stepped in, instilling in me the strength and compassion that continue to guide me as I support both my mom and aunt through their challenges.

Why This Matters

Every person deserves to have support while supporting others. Whether you're becoming a guardian or already in the thick of caregiving, you're not alone.
